Thing looks like my Gio 50. Nice Suzuki stickers.

Are the brake lights hooked up? Those two wires look like the ones on the front for the light switches. Perhaps some unconnected lights?

Your girls are gorgeous lucky man. They do look happy with their new toy! I think I have the same Dora shoes in my house somewhere.

50cc will make them feel like they're flying, good for the kids, and good score for the money!

Now at least you know it runs!

Yep. Runs good too. No smoke.

The brake lights work and so do all the other lights. I thought the same thing, but it appears to be all connected.

Just thought about it. I wonder if that is a charger connector for the battery? Will have to follow the wires.

I need to figure out how to bypass that alarm crap and get the kill switches working.

Also I need to know how to set the throttle limit so I can make it go slow.

It screams right along right now.

Allen

I would highly doubt it's a battery charger. Odd to have two wires unconnected and everything working though. Stranger things have happened!

The throttle govenor screw is usually on the handlebar by the grip, or in the throttle control casing, it just looks like a normal screw with a nut on the end, and when you press the throttle it blocks the mechanism inside from travelling it's full distance. (Screw it in a ways and you'll notice the throttle travel shortening) Someone may have just tossed the screw if they weren't using it, or it vibrated itself out, but you should see the threads where it goes if it is not there.

I will take a look at the throttle control.

Anyone have a wiring diagram for one of these?

Just a WAG on the little black box. Perhaps a remote operated kill switch?

I would say so too, I looked at the back of my Gio 50 today and there are two wiring connectors, one for the back light and the other to the kill switch. It is possible the previous owner unplugged it because the switches themselves are kind of a pain, you think they are on but they aren't and the thing won't start. However, without a complete circuit one would think it wouldn't start at all!

Rear kill switch and lights are connected. Don't know what that other one is for.

I am going to fix it so just the kill switch on the handlebar operates and bypass all the others. I traded it away today for another cub cadet garden tractor. The new owner has two boys that are alittle older. My girls are not quite big enough yet. Same problem as AZ200 had. Hands don't fit the levers.

Thanks, I am suppose to get your parts tomorrow. Will hopefully send them off on Monday.

I got a good trade on a vintage cub cadet for it.

They like their tractors. Plus the cub has more long term value. It only 45 years old or so. The new one is 43. We ride them like ATVs.

(The real reason, wife didn't like it.) I offered a swap for another tractor. She was okay with that.

Yes if I had one complaint about the Quads I have it would be that. They can barely reach the brakes. At least with the CVT's when you come off the throttle the slow down pretty quick.

Hehe...when I was a kid, I always had a jones for lawn tractors! ('course we didn't have ATVs then....)

Now, 40 years later, I always enjoy mowing the lawn with my li'l Craftsman...and I always think back to when i was a kid in the 70's...dreaming of having a lawn tractor!

True, But it always worriesme if she gets in trouble she will have a hrd time stopping.....Foot brakes should be required on all kids atv's...I'm going to start a movement
