New member here

New here and I've been thinking about a CT70 clone for several years and started looking for a retailer and reading reviews. I had to give up riding in 2007 due to a spinal chord injury and can't use a manual clutch but I have the urge to ride so a semi-auto gearbox it is.
I'm not looking for performance since I found out the hard way that I'm not as invincible as I thought I was so the little clone will be used to just get back on two wheels and small enough to stow in my 5th wheel toy hauler rv as I'm going to live in it full time. Any leads to reputable dealers and clones would be appreciated as there's so much to sift through on the net.
Thank you

Welcome!

There are several horizontal clone fans here, so they'll chime in eventually.

I like the idea of riding a small semi-auto; I'd like to find an old CT90, and stuff a China 125 in it.

Welcome!!
Depending on where you are currently located has a big part of finding a good dealer, If you can locate a dealer close to you that you can actually go pick the bike up from that would be the best option to avoid shipping cost and possibly obtain a warranty and service from them. Most "good" dealers can service your bike provide parts and even 6/mo warranty. Not to mention you don't have to do any assembly they will assemble and hopefully test and tune.

I'm in Milwaukee for now and saw a dealer in Lafayette, In that would be a possibility so I'm going to call and check their pricing. I'll be heading south for he winter so if I can wait it might open more opportunities to find dealers.

I ended up finding a new 2009 Lifan 110cc clone for a good price. I'll post some pics soon.
