Hawk 250 Electrical Output

I've searched to try and find this and apologize if I've missed it. Does anyone know the Hawk's electrical output and can it be upgraded?

I've read the TT250 puts out 300 watts, is it possible to swap the stator/rectifier from the TT250 to the Hawk?

I hope to order a Hawk today (after I check with my DMV) this morning, and I'm wondering if it can be upgraded to power heated grips/vest etc.

Thank all of you, this site has been a TREMENDOUS resource!

We have charging ports on our hawks, while running at 20 miles per hour they show both hawks producing 15.5 volts. We have heavy duty off road lights and they operate perfectly fine as well as gps systems running.

If the TT stator fits, I see no reason you couldn't use it with a TT rectifier and wiring. I don't know of anyone trying it yet so all I can say is it probably fits.

Republic - consider the pricing of the upgrades you are inquiring about along with the other standard upgrades (carb, exhaust, tires if you aren't using it off road primarily) and consider a TT250. They upgraded a lot of the parts and if you are looking at going that route as it's final state, why not buy it done over having to do extra work for no reason. The hawk seems to run accessories ok though as is.

I would definitely consider the TT250 if I had the funds available. I recently had to sell my beloved V-Strom to pay for some house repairs... :(

I was just wondering whether it could support accessories as it, or if I needed to upgrade. I'm actually really looking forward to tinkering with it and eventually making the Hawk my own through the relatively cheap upgrades available.
