Do you know a replacement part for the rear shock on Rebel T3?

One of the performance beast rear shocks might work, they are 11-3/4" eye to eye.

Well the Performance Front shocks, also from GIO, are 13-3/4" eye to eye.

I put on the rear performance shock on my T3. The ATV now sits lower, but it sure sucks up the bumps. I would like it taller in the rear though.

Maybe you could make an extension for the shock; I did that on one of my son's pit bikes. I compressed the spring to unscrew the end, then I cut the head off of a 1" bolt and drilled and tapped it. I then screwed a stud in one end, screwed that into the shock body and then screwed the shock end into the extension.
Next time, I won't use a grade 5 bolt. Man, was that tough to tap.
