I've seen the shaft that the bearing is supposed to support do that when the bearing stops turning and the shaft keeps going. Oil bath prevents it from welding itself, chatters, chips, flakes, and makes an awful racket.

At least I had a reason to call in for at least a half day tomorrow. Hope something either shows itself cause I’m reluctant to go ahead and put it back together with out confirmation. Thanks everyone I appreciate your help!!
You have the cases split and the gears exposed? If yes, how about a bunch of good quality pics large enough for us to examine? I find it hard to believe that you didn't find anything. In your first post you state that the main shaft has a lot of play in it, that tells me there is something amiss.

So it’s been quite a while however, I finally received new transmission and kick start components from warranty dept. went ahead and threw in a new piston and rings with a light hone on the cylinder. Got it all buttoned up and it started first hit of the button. Was very excited I even got a start. However the horrible whine/ squeal when under load, the original indicator is still there. So reluctantly I am going to start chasing on the other side of things. The electrical system? Flywheel side?? Any suggestions. I still don’t believe that an entire trans, and clutches still have the whine. Only thing i reused was the clutch basket itself caus the new one wouldn’t fit. Help once again... thanks everyone.

WHen you had the cases apart, did you check or replace the bearings for the crankshaft and transmission shafts?

Negative. Didn’t replace any bearings themselves however I’m assuming now that’s I should have? Thank you Mega, by chance know what size to order do you? I’ve had luck so far ordering replacement items for cg125 engine and been somewhat lucky.

How about a short video on your phone so we hear what your talking about. It might help...might not?

5500 is a lot of miles from what I hear - You definitely paid for that thing being a daily driver. Hope you find the rest of your problem and glad they gave you warranty parts. In the meantime new motor man! I think they're 300 bucks or so.

Also I agree replace the trans bearings regardless especially having completed all the other work you did - And ALL things requiring bearings can be replaced with better quality for not much more money. Plus it seems like you are spending the time to get it done right. I used to repair german planetary gear drives and the main point of failure was a $35 bearing that would be the cause of ruin for a $7000 case.

Keep the faith you'll get 'er fixed!
