Canadian interested in a hawk type bike
After many years watching you buggers buy the cheap Hawk or something like it,I am interested in getting in on the fun .These bikes are not brought to Canada at least as far as I know so I think I might have a work around .
How about I get one delivered to somewhere in Michigan (the UP would be closest for me ) then send the paperwork to Vermont and slap a Vermont plate on it and leave it there .I can pick up the bike and completely disassemble it into just random parts ,cross the border and ride it like I stole it .I might be able to ride it across but not exactly sure how that would go at the border .Anybody know what insurance is required in Vermont ,and any idea if I could get it from out of the country ? Anybody know any Canadians who might of tried this already ?I know the borders are closed ,not worried they will reopen eventually and that gives me time to figure this out . Any thoughts on any of this ? |

Do you know any snowbirds that head down here to Yuma? There could be an easier way if you had any trusted friends or relatives with an RV!
