"Let light shine out of darkness"

(2 Corinthians 4:6)

Seems like there is a lot of talk about our 'fallen' world and the darkness that seems to be consuming our society. A whole thread on guns and fear of said darkness...

I propose an attitude shift. I saw this and was amazed at how much light there is in the world. The darkness seems overpowering, because that is what sells in the media.

This most recent video contains 3746 individual videos and voice tracks that people submitted from 73 countries around the world, all coming together in a single choir conducted by Eric Whitacre.

E Pluribus Unum, out of many, one.

Sorry, wasn't intended as a religious posting. Just a really cool collaboration with an international "virtual choir" demonstrating that there is still some good left in the world.

Thank you. I don't have the words to describe that experience. To me, that's the sound of the Grand Canyon.

Busy with the move. Looking forward to watching it soon.

Indeed there is a lot of good in the World. There is the Salt of the Earth. Salt slows decay.

Indeed also the good does not sell in the media. That's a good reason some of us have given up the usual media!

Well put. I have had the pleasure of visiting the Grand Canyon three times, and words cannot describe it either. Music has a way of transcending words.

Nice pic Weld.

The Grand Canyon is some of His best Earthly work. Amazing inspiring place.

I'm glad you took the time to watch them. I was impressed by the magnitude of the whole thing.
