ATV Order - Who?

Hi folks. Been looking at buying the (Coolster) 150 quad with the GY-6 and the rear luggage bag for Mrs 2LZ.

I've been nosing at two sites:
1 - Power Sports Max
2 - Superior Power Sports

I know that Doc had once said he's ordered from Power Sports Max with no problems. Anyone order from Superior Power Sports or Power Sports Max? I understand that these sites have random bad reviews, as do most sites, but any input would be helpful. Can't please everyone....

As most China sites, the price between the two are basically identical but here's the kicker. Power Sports Max hails from CA, where I live. Superior I believe ships out of Texas. Power Sports Max collects the CA taxes and sets you up with DMV here (extra $$$), Superior does not.

The question I need to ask myself is how often will this ATV be off my property and on public land. I'll mainly be riding on private properties between my house and a friends acreage. I can save myself the taxes and DMV by ordering from Texas....but sure as heck, that will probably guarantee us a camp out on USFS land some time in the near future.

Anyone go through this quandary before?

Killer Motorsports is from Texas. My guess is that you can't really go wrong on either of these two since both have been around quite a while. At least, you don't have to worry about MSO's since these are off-road vehicles (I mean, you DO have to worry about them, but not for street plating, as some have come to find out). What about the Taotao bikes?

Hi culcune. I was basically under the impression that Taotao made the majority of these quads.....just marketed under different names. Myself, I was looking at the TaoTao Rhino unless this 'GY-6 150 CV trans' really handles our needs. If so, I was probably going to buy a second one, before my brother "re-borrows" old his Yamaha Timber Wolf. Each of us need a quad so I can weld up pin hitches for a couple of carts. I wish someone made a bolt-on pin hitch for these but I'll figure it out.

So the "Coolster" isn't a Taotao, at heart? Is there any significant difference in quality between the two that you know of?

Glad to hear both of these dealers have decent reputations and have been around a long time. Settles the heart a little.

Not sure if Tao and Coolster are related. However, I have read, and seen many videos of Taotao that portray those quads in a good light--taking the price and 'Chinese' into account.
