Coolster 3125R - 280mm front shocks?

Hi, just bought a 3125R, it's a pretty fun little bike for my kids (& me )

I see a lot of folks upgrading the stiff front stock shocks, but it seems like almost everyone is getting 320mm shocks - from what I can measure, eye-eye, it looks like my current front shocks are ~280mm. Does this sound right? Are 280mm my only option for this ATV, and if so has anyone found any at 280mm that they would recommend? Thanks!

rear 280mm

For example, these gas shocks - I see they're advertised as 'rear' shocks, does this indicate a difference in rebound strength (or any difference really from 'front' shocks?)

Usually the rear is just one shock.... I would think two of them mounted to the front would be pretty stiff. Not sure about that though as the front arms are independent of each other.
