Looks good to me. I will post it today.
Here's a slight route deviation to avoid I-15. I've seen minivans and honda civics on this route.

Alternate route: https://goo.gl/maps/yG1MGKKxRtybGz4EA

Yes, the ride is still on. So far it's three of us from this forum. From facebook there is 1 confirmed and 1 maybe. Still open to anyone wanting to surprise us Saturday morning.

Weather forecast for this Saturday looks great. I drove the upper half of the route last week (Summit Inn to the 138) without any surprises.

I am thinking of getting out to Northridge this weekend; maybe take a couple days off work ('all work and no play makes culcune a dull boy') and be the chase car. Even if you don't want one, might just force my way into your ride

LOL! You can follow us like those Tour de France cars.

I'm already planning another one in June/July. One a month would be nice.

I can imagine bumping into some riders while handing cups of water to some other riders. Wow, with all these rides planned, you might be convincing me to move back to the L.A. area

Thanks for documenting the ride report Essayons. This was an outstanding ride with some great variety in terrain and views from mountains to high desert. I had the chance to ride some great double track I never knew existed. For those who weren't able to make it, keep an eye out for part 2.

So when is the next ride? Will it be at the same location? If not, I would strongly suggest Bedford Motorway that stretches in through the Cleveland National Forest. The entrance to the fire road/ trail is in Corona right by the 15/91 freeway intersection. Haven’t personally rode but seen videos of jeeps relatively stock take those trails... so hopefully our Chondas won’t let us down.

I'll start posting info on the next trip this coming Sunday. I like your ride suggestion and don't mind traveling for a good ride.

I'm working on putting a video together. Having to sort two hours of footage and not being one of them professional youtube type people, you can imagine it's slow going.

A few pics from Lytle Creek / Cajon Pass ride.

Thought I'd share some highlights of the ride.
