Lifan Lycan 250cc : First Start

Its been raining cats and dogs here (along with flooding) so I am getting really antsy about riding this thing around so I can get more feedback.

If we are lucky this weekend I can do a First look on this bike. It's for sure interesting and WAY out of my normal bike.

Trying to add to the community.

Thanks!

How tall are you? The bike looks bigger than I was anticipating when you're on it. Sounds amazingly cool.

Beautiful bike. I got told the same thing when I had the Route 66. I like to get one myself.

You know what would be great with this kind of review? Having people of different heights/sizes sit on the bike on camera so people can get a real idea of how it might fit them. You smaller normal humans have it easy with bikes, but guys like me that are taller than 6ft have very few references to go off of when it comes to bikes. Do you have a tall friend that could sit on the bike for you with a foot on the boards?

I expect bikes like the KP200 not to fit me well, but something like this would be a sweet option for a small commuter bike. Even I am actually interested in possibly picking one of these up.

Quick "sporty" look for that bike would be a bobber rear fender and some lower, straighter, bars. The stock exhaust is actually pretty elegant and stylish, and it just doesn't match the lines of the bike with those tall ape hanger-ish bars and full rear fender.

Excellent suggestion and I hope it happens... I'm 6'2 275 and would like to see a middle aged fat man like me on it and a review of its performance......

The handle bars are for me the least visually appealing aspect of the bike. Just look disproportionate to the overall size of the bike.....jmo. . . . otherwise I would certainly enjoy an afternoon cruise on it to satisfy my interest.

For those not near a Lifan dealer, and trust Powersportsmax, this might be the way to go; plus it gives a sense of price point for the Lycan...
