A guy who works for Ricky Power Sports, the company that imports and distributes the Hawk bikes in the US, is a member on chinariders (Adam Rinkleff). He recommends using Q9 if you ask him where to mail order a Hawk from.

Cool stuff!
I'll be watching this thread. I'm just down the road in Pawnee. I've been thinking of getting one too. I'm especially interested in how difficult it will be to get these plated/insured in Illinois(hope that goes easily). |

well I read pretty extensively on here about people and there MCO's and the only problem people run into sometime is the MCO saying "off road use" on them so i made sure to call the SoS and clarify with them that even though the bike doesn't show up in there system that as long as the MCO says on road use I shouldn't have a problem. Then before i bought the bike I made sure to call Q9 (place i bought mine from) and confirmed with them that the MCO they send says on it "For Road Use". So as long as everything goes well my buddy and I might make a trip over to Pawnee and show off our bikes to ya Archer.
p.s. bikes are actually being delivered to kincaid so we will be very close |

I wonder if it is because they ordered two bikes?
