The manual for the hawk says it's an o-ring chain but it doesn't look like it is. Can someone confirm it isn't?

no it was not an o-ring, at least mine wasn't. Mine looked like a very cheap x.

http://www.amazon.com/Unibear®-Moto.../dp/B01ACMJR6I

Exact one I bought, went up a little bit in the price, all of them claim to have "Quadra-X-Ring Seals"

I also cannot find any Unibear X-ring, or O-ring drive chains in size 428.

I think 428H is a standard, heavy-duty drive chain.

huh, guess it just has a bunch of fancy terms on their 'spec sheet' and I didn't notice it being a regular "HD" style chain but like I said before, the brand has served me well over the years I have used them on my 100cc Yamaha 2 stroke, I just recently got them for the Kawasaki and Bashan, next time I'm going to spend the $13+ extra for a 'real' chain, thanks for the heads up Spud
