Hawk turn signal alarm

Is there a link on how to disable the alarm? I turned the ignition switch on in my shop and the turn signal was on. My dog and I have trust issues now.

If you look at the bottom of the blinker module(under the seat) I believe you should see an opening at the bootm. If you stuff some paper towel in there it will muffle it. If you are ok with making a permanent change you can take it apart and clip the wires for the speaker. I was amazed at how tiny the speaker is yet it makes such a loud noise.

I found the flasher and unplugged it. No turn signals and no alarm now. The flasher box is sealed but does have some movement were the connections go into the box.

I taped over the opening to quiet the alarm. It's good to have a reminder the signals are flashing.

I used a couple of small precision screwdrivers to pop the end of the box off. That speaker is tiny but it has a big bark.

I snipped the wires and pushed on the speaker with my finger and it came loose. I don't need an alarm when I have four lights in front of me that I can see on the Hawk.

It beeps in time with the signals, so you can hear that the signals need to be switched off.

I kinda like mine. It gets the attention of folks at stop light so I hoping it increases my chances of awareness that I'm there.
