not happy....
It was so close & I let it slip away....
The Story...... a guy down the road replaced his side fence about 6 months ago.... while it was down I spyed this motorbike in a lean 2/wood shed.. could only see it from the rear under a heap of crap..... looked like a old suzuki TS/TC 125/185 not something i would want.... so never went in and seen him... well I was talking to him today... i asked what the old bike in the shed is.... He said I gave it away.... And then he said it was a DKW175 with leading link front end... yer i'm pi$$ed off now.... so dam close..... would have looked good in my shed sitting beside the 2 old Montesa's bastard.... ..

Love those DKW forks. They were very successful desert racers in the states.

OHHHH! A Deek!....WITH the leading link and venerable Sachs 125!?
This is killin' me pete. I'd love to add one to my rolling stock. I'm sure the rubber pads on the tank were intact too?

I hate when stuff like that slips away.
