Aluminum Rims

I have been looking for aluminum rims for my Hawk. I found these on Amazon. Here’s the link:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073WSWK4B..._M2u7zbSQ7PX7X

What do you think about them? Will they work on the Hawk? They have 36 spoke holes and they are 8mm holes.

Thanks,

Dan-O

Nice looking rims. My only concern would be the 8mm holes. The rear spokes are 8ga. and nipples should be 7.5mm - 8mm. Not sure of the gauge of the front spokes as they are smaller in diameter. I can take a measurement when I get home after work late this evening to confirm. Worst that can happen is you will have to change out the front to a larger gauge spoke which could be a good thing.

I took measurement when I got home. Front and rear spoke holes are about 7mm. 8mm holes may be too big.

just buy 8mm nipples to fit ...
it's the head that dose the holding
not the nipple barrel...
