Question 2023 Vinatti Clash 200cc EFI

When I turn off the engine the lights won't go out. I have to discount mt battery every time I park. Does anyone know what is causing this and how to fix it,

The lights are AC and run off the alternator so the battery shouldn't have anything to do with it. A wiring diagram would help. Could be a couple wires crossed in one of the connectors or a bent pin in one of the connectors that is causing a connection between the AC and DC circuits.

Then why do my lights come on as soon as I turn on the switch and before I start the motor?

On all 4 of my bikes.

Because those bikes have DC lighting that is powered by the battery.

There are two common ways to power the lights that have been used for many decades. The most common nowadays works the same way as a normal car by powering lights directly from the battery. Some small motorcycles like the Clash power the lights from the alternator without the battery being involved. There is a regulator in the circuit to keep the voltage in check so as not to burn out the lights. One advantage to that system is on most of them the lights will work even with a dead battery or no battery at all.

Perhaps, but that bike also has EFI which requires the fuel pump to engage as soon as the switch is turned and before the starter engages. It also has constant draw on the system from the computer for the EFI.

It seems an over complicated mess to separate the three systems needlessly.

I'll bet this winds up being an ignition switch malfunction.
