Hawk aftermarket cluster worth it?

Is the aftermarket cluster really worth it? I can hear rpms well so the tach is nice but not required. I mainly am tired of the stock spedo. Is there any way to make the stock one more accurate?

Yes. It's accurate, odometer is in miles not kilometers like stock one. Also has gear indicator.

Absolutely. One of the easiest purchases I have made for my Hawk, and super fast turn around. I had mine within 2 days

It's too cool not to have! It might be the coolest thing about my Hawk!

I'm sold. I was close to just trying to make my own as there are several digital speedometers that run about 30 40 bux on amazon and have all the same features. Just less plug and play. If he's that easy to work with and it's plug and play mine as well just go with his I suppose.

His unit replaces the factory spedo insert on the front wheel, doesn't it? My original spedo cable got in a fight with my horn on a few right turns and I think that attributed to the issue.

You are far better off with spending the extra money on the cluster. Its accurate, proven, bolts on and fits in place of the stock cluster, and so far pretty reliable. Things that cant be said about many of those 30-40 dollar gauge setups on Amazon and ebay. First hand experience talking on that one, and I wont make that mistake again.

To answer your question, yes, it comes with a speedo drive hub style wheel speed sensor that goes in place of the stock one.

I was going to go that same route but glad I didn't. Best part about the digital cluster is that you are buying it from a member on the site that has great support.

It came stock on my Shineray, speedo is accurate (as long as you keep the stock tire sizes) and it has been reliable so far, no issue at all after a year and a half of owning this bike.

Thanks for all the plugs guys. The cluster is indeed accurate and easy to install. I answer the phone when i can and call back ASAP if i am out of cell range. Just placed another order for 50 more. I have a total of nearly 400 in circulation and have had 3 returned for warranty. Currently shipping the weekend backlog this afternoon but still have 20 left from the last order. Happy 4th and remember, FREEDOM IS NOT FREE!

No, sir, thank you for offering an awesome product and customer care/support. I recommend your cluster upgrade to anybody that even thinks about getting a Hawk lol. I tell them it is in my Top 3 required upgrades. If there were more vendors like you in the market, the world would be a better place.
