In post #57 of this thread I posted a link to a website where you can download PCHUD for a play, but I will post a link here to the Pchud software I got with the cable and the stuff I have translated. This also includes instructions.

PCHUD is old win 3.1 software but will run on win7 32bit but not 64bit
Thank you. In post #81 you indicated the PC HUD software from the vendor contained MT05 parameter files and USB drivers. It's too bad the PC HUD software will not work with the 64-bit operating systems.

I assume the acronym PC HUD stands for 'Personal Computer Heads Up Display?' Do you think newer versions of HUD software will work?

You might have to do the same, but I will upload it here soon

The 2nd pic mirrors the pictures in the Delphi scanner manual from this thread.
The gaps you can see are where I haven't fully translated and configured it yet.
You're a good man, Kat.

Don't you just love Taobao?

Yes, I see your data closely resembles the output from the PC HUD software, which is displayed starting on page 76 of the Delphi Small Engine EMS Service Manual.

Yeah, I had to use a spare hard drive for my win8 (64bit) laptop and load win7(32bit) nearly killed it in the process

I have managed to get hold of quite a lot of newer diagnostic software. when I get the time I will test to see if any will work with the cable.

Here's an attachment with a link to the software that came with the cable
(includes USB drivers)
link.txt .php file opens with notepad

Needless to say, we eagerly await your updates regarding the newer diagnostic software.

Well done, Grand Poobah.

If an RX3 owner wasn't able to run the software, it would be totally worth it to buy an old, used laptop that was running Win7 / 32 or older. That machine would never have to be online, so it should be indefinitely stable.

I just found a manual which contains information for diagnosing the Delphi MT05 EFI system. The Delphi EFI information begins on page 133 of the manual, which is shown at the following link.

http://www.manualslib.com/manual/816...age=138#manual

If you click the 'download' button at the top of the webpage, you can save the entire manual to your computer.

The manual describes three methods to diagnose the EFI system.

1) Engine warning light
2) Motorscan Diagnostic Tool
3) PCHUD software on computer

According to that thread, we can also adapt the following cable.

Where can we find the following connector?

I have the 6 pin to USB cable now and PCHUD running on an older laptop, I just don't think I have the correct driver, I'd love to make this work for my 2014 ODES Dominator 4-seater.

The Zongshen RX3 is my first motorcycle with fuel injection, and I love EFI. I discovered the following video where Zongshen describes the Delphi EFI system in our RX3 bikes.

Spud, do you think a carb-to-EFI conversion is doable? Like ordering all items from taobao and installing them?
The problem I see is with the fuel pump, the carb model has a different fuel tank

I have seen many, but not all of the EFI parts for sale on Taobao. I wouldn't attempt the job, myself, especially if my carburetor was working well. I'm sure you would encounter problems with the wiring harness, et cetera.

The Delphi, MT05 diagnostic plug only employs three wires, as shown in the Delphi service manual.

The OBD2 code specifies the following wiring, as shown at the link below.

Pins 4&5: Ground
Pins 7&8: K-Line
Pin 16: +12V Battery

http://www.bmwgm5.com/Peake_AB03.htm

I might as well convert the RX3, 6-pin Delphi connectors to 3-pin Delphi connectors, which I can get from eBay.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Delphi-W...p2054897.l4275

I am inclined to purchase the following adapter, and wire the correct OBD2 pins to the corresponding Delphi pins, using one of the 3-pin Delphi connectors.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Diagnostic-C..._Tools&vxp=mtr

I can then connect this OBD2 adapter harness to any OBD2 scanner, such as the inexpensive, OBD2 scanner shown in the link below.

Spud . . Did you end up making this work or not ?

OK .... Read everything. Lol I suppose given enough time there will be an android app for my silly phone to handle it! In the meantime Kat's hard work is certainly appreciated.
