Tbr7 won’t crank over

Alright so I have a 2021 tbr7. I have been riding it for a while with no problems. Recently I noticed it is having trouble starting in the cold. I live in Texas and we recently has some freezing temperatures. The other night I couldn’t get it started. I tried to start it for a bout an hour. The electric start just wasn’t doing it. The kick start was getting it started for a few seconds then it would sputter and die. I tried to jump start it with my car. Probably a real stupid idea because not it’s completely dead. Like the battery has zero charge and lights won’t turn on at all. Pretty sure I blew a fuse or shorted something out. Any help would be well… helpful.

Update I for sure blew a fuse. I changed it and the battery was fully charged and cranked over but the bike wouldn’t start.

Are you using the choke when you are starting it?

Did you adjust your valve lash? A symptom is hard starting when cold. Also get rid of the stock spark plug if you're still using it.

If you still are using the stock carburetor and haven't changed the main jet, the settings are exceptionally lean. I have an older TBR7 and re-jetted it to a 110 and usually don't need the choke to start when it is warm, but in cold weather the choke is needed. Perhaps a bit of starting fluid may get it going, provided you have spark.

Adjust your pilot jet and you won't have that issue. You'll have trouble finding the pilot for the stock carb but the clone has pilots available on amazon. https://tbr7.com/upgrades/fuel-system/
