a complete history of 50cc street racers
the garellis were the predecessors of the chinabikes:
cheap to own easy to repair fun to ride at the top end there were the kreidlers https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kreidler top speed 210 km/h (under ideal conditions in utah, but still sth for a 50 cc) many wins in the Grand Prix 50cc class here s to give u some ideas for your next projects: http://www.classic50racingclub.co.uk/67kreSale.htm http://diffrentstrokers.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=900 i had a 1963 model on moped rego with a 5 speed 6 hp air cooled engine from the later RS model and i regret selling it - too many bikes, my parents complained for not having space to park their car - as if a well rounded personality could go without a few bikes to work on :-( models with pics here: http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~pa...cc/arc0059.htm

210km/h on 50cc in 1965! Awesome!
I love this: I've got a similar project on the back burner, but I'm hoping to power it with a 110 China motor. It's based on a '78 YB100.
