HAWK Passenger Peg Replace w/ TT250's????

Hey guys, a while back I dropped the Hawk IN GRASS, mind you, and the passenger peg caught the ground weird and the "U Shape" metal piece, that holds that actual peg to the mount, gave out in the bends and once that metal bends it loses all structural integrity.

It's beyond me why they just welded some bent metal to the mount instead of having it bolted on some way...

Anyways, I "Ghetto" rigged a cheap peg I bought online to the mount with some extra supports AND it works great for having my girlfriends foot just resting on it or when she mounts the bike..

BUT I am getting into doing some standing wheelies from the back pegs and am finding out that this cheap peg doesnt do well under that kind of pressure and is starting to bend. (Im getting to my point soon, dont worry)

So, at first i tried to find if i could get a legit replacement part but had no luck. THEN someone on here introduced me to the TT250 parts list and I was amazed at the amount of parts and found myself going through most of all of them and came across its PASSENGER PEGs on the list for about $15.

My question is; before I buy one (Or 2) is if anyone has both the HAWK and the TT250 and could tell me if the PASSENGER pegs could be swapped with no problem
OR if someone could give me the measurements of their TT250's PASSENGER PEGs and I'll see if they match up

The TT250's look shorter, but i dont think that will matter. What I am concerned with is if the points the mount attaches to the frame are the same distance apart as the HAWK's mount and frame

Thanks Guys.

I just measured mine for you, unfortunately it looks like the welded bracket is a little different, the bolts are about 3 and 1/8th inches center to center and the peg sits a little over 5 inches back (sorry for the bad pics I measured more precisely when I had two hands.

You still might be able to rig it somehow if its close, I would check that bolt center to center measurement again

Hey Thanks for that measurement and photo, buddy! But damn it looks like the TT250's is spaced out more. As i just checked, the HAWK is 2 & 7/8 Center to Center

The Tt250 is close, but there are a few differences. The rear peg flange pattern is one of them. There may be a member or two that removed their rear oegs like I did that would part woth them. I gave mine to another member that was missing his.

Hey, that would be amazing and very appreciated if ANYONE out there is willing to part with them, id buy them off you or pay the shipping cost.

Or if anyone has any idea of where I could get a replacement.

The passenger pegs on the Enforcer look like an exact match. Maybe one of the Enforcers guy's will verify the dimensions. Only problem there is where do you order the Enforcer parts from? I would just break out the mig welder and weld it back together.

You can also contact txpowersoorts as they sell Hawk parts. I didn't see them on their parts page, but they may just not be listed and might be able to order them. Be prepared for potential sticker shock though. They ask a premium on Hawk parts.

Other than that, I agree with Jerry. That should be a pretty straight forward weld job. If you dont have a welder call someone local, it shouldnt cost too much to have it welded back up.

I wish i did have a welder but I will have to figure out how it should be welded as on of the peg's holes where the pin goes in also broke as well.

You can have mine, just pay shipping. I believe they will fit in a medium size flat rate box.
