another FL china rider, xf200

I have been reading from this forum for like 2 months, and Have to tell everybody here that u rock, I have had china atvs for a while now, We use them every weekend, and we ride them thru mud and jump em in the dirt. I bought all three for less then it cost for one jap bike, granted if it wasnt for forums like this they wouldnt run, because I wouldnt know how to fix them. So with gas insanely hi, I decided I needed a bike and that even though china bikes have shitty welds and inferior parts, they are cheap and because of people and forums like this I could fix it if it broke. So I got the Q link xf200 last week verses a 1994 jap 225 enduro( for the same price). 345km so far so good.

thanks, had it at 70mph (only for a very brief time) rpm at about 9.5, handled well, so far very pleased with the bike.

hi rizn,

i just got my xf200 last week too. i have had it up to 60 mph. afraid to take it higher until the 500 mile break in! and want to mod for better highway performance for sure.

glad to see you got one too. this bike has a lot of potential. how bout a pic or 10? here is mine.....

New smyrna beach, Nice I like the black, mine is silver, yeah I have had it in the dirt too, I think it needs knobby tires, but I like the way it handles on the road, I work on a ranch in Oak hill, takes me 40 mins and its half dirt roads that can get kinda knarly, bike handles fine till i get in the soft, mods, yeah but from where, guess we will be the mod ginny pigs, I would be happy to get it 70 mph at 8000 rpm, I wonder if it is possible

that is my goal as well. i will get the bike to cruise 65 to 70 mph without it being maxed out. carb and sprocket modificatons.

Hey volks, (EDIT CANT SPELL so i took it out), I read up on your post on motojunkieeeeeeeeee, did you change your sprocket, front or back, and did you get it to 80,

no not yet. i have the front sprocket sitting here but i am waiting for tytnpwr to install it! he was a mechanic previously so i am trusting him with it. we were supposed to get together yesterday but he had to work an extra day for ot so it did not happen.

i have not bought the rear sprocket yet. going to put that off just a little while. will probably do that at the same time i do the exhaust. sometime next month.

volksjagger, PLEASE take pictures of the install of the front sprocket if at all possible, would be very helpfull, less you want to keep it to yourself :twisted: , jk but the info would be priceless, and I cant wait till u do it
