What to put as purchase price??

I was going to get my Hawk registered today and I noticed the BOS price was left blank. I know people do this when selling and buying used vehicles. But with it being new couldn't they just look it up? I feel like I should just put what I paid.

What has everyone else done? In South Carolina you pay 5% with a max of $300 for property tax. So putting a low number would help to pay less.

When registering in FLA you need an actual BOS (sales receipt) for the value. Here they will tax you on the purchase price AND shipping

Well just got done at the tax office and DMV. The Hawk is all tagged and legal.
Only issues were one thing calling it an RPS Hawk and the Title calling it the Haosen Hawk. So we went back and forth and even showed my insurance card calling the Haosen.
So South Carolina is friendly for us.
