Hello from Scandinavia

Hello,
I'm Pete, a Brit living in Scandinavia (Denmark). Someone on our new Chinese Bike Forum here in Denmark ( http://kinojserklubben.dk/forum/index.php ) posted a link to your site. Nice to find international China bikers.

Chinese bikes have been selling really well in Scandinavia in the past couple of years and there's an active club here in Denmark. I've posted some short videos of our recent rides on YouTube. Here's a link to one of them (if anyone's interested in seeing some old grey-haired guys on bikes ).

Cheers

Pete

PS I ride a Regal Raptor 250E

Nice to see some international interest. Member 'Catostrophix' is closer to you than most of us (Sweden). Your bike looks very similar to the brand 'Tank' in the US. They have a 250 cruiser in 3 kinds of trim. As you might have figured out, there seems to be dozens of regional brands that take someone's Chinese model and re-brand it for their particular country, or with a few local "manufacturers" in N. America, the same Chinese brand is re-branded 3 or 4 times!

Welcome to our club, Pete!
Nice to receive new members, especially grey haired ones like myself. Feel free to add your suggestions and input here for all to see.
A lot of guys are here with their first bikes and I have a great time sharing what I can with them. Heck, I ain't too old to learn myself! It's just great to be able to help when possible and I know it makes owning one of these bikes just that much better when you know that there is a network of guys here that will lend a hand, so to speak.
Ride safe and rubber side down, Brother. Nice bike, by the way.

Thanks for the welcome guys. A few more bike images above (from just after I bought it. It's now done more than 8,000 kilometres). This Raptor is really my first bike as I was bitten by the two-wheel bug while using a small Euro scooter.

The Raptor seems to have the same engine as a host of others over here (Lifan, JinLun, JinCheng, and so on). I got interested in the Raptor because I noticed an old British company, AJS, were selling it in the UK. I also just liked the look of it. I think the Chinese company is working with a US-based business too, Johnny Pag, and have deveoped something called the Spyder:

This is a road test of the Spyder model, not really me, but a nice bike

Since Denmark is such a small country our club has had several tours which have been great fun ...

Cheers

Pete

PS Ja, CathastrophiX, bor i Danmark, kan forstaa Svensk, men ikke alt  Vi var en tur til Kullan for ikke saa laenge siden ... se:

You´re from Denmark, is this really true?

If so, I must go there and see for myself...
