Lancer=Hawk? Motobuys

Are the lancer models that motobuys has listed on their website really just hawks? They have two bikes that have similar looks to the hawk but have different prices (lancer enduro db-25- and lancer enduro RTS 250). I am almost ready to pull the trigger and get a hawk to screw around on.

lancer enduro db-250 is the Bashan Enforcer and the lancer enduro RTS 250 is the RPS Hawk 250 But call to make sure they are in stock before ordering.

They are close to the same quality. The difference is the Enforcer is 49 state street legal so will be easy to register, already has the correct sprocket set up for street use and a better carburetor.

I guess the hawks are sold out everywhere. They do have that lancer db-250 in green though.

That must be the green one that were stuck in a railroad car a few months ago. Go for it. the way it looks right now it might be your only option.

The Lancer DB is definitely the Bashan Enforcer. The pic of the red Lancer DB is the same pic that I use as my avatar.

I agree with the others and say go for it. Use a credit card from a good company that backs you up if you need a refund.

Have you tried calling Rickypowersports (RPS) and ask about the Hawk? They don't reply by Email I know must be to busy. Was thinking about calling. Also sent PM to Adam Rinkleff days back with no reply yet.

I think you can use paypal on that site. That would also offer some level of protection.
