Brake rod and camshaft lever

My brake rod came loose from the camshaft lever and wrapped all around my brake drum. Also the bar that connects from under the brake pedal to the brake drum broke off as well. I am trying to find the parts to replace these from Honda or Yamaha and was wondering if anyone would know where to start. The bike is a Zong GY 200, labelled as a KPX GY200.

If you have time, please post a photo of your bike, and the damaged parts. I believe your KPX GY200 is a Hondoid.

You might be able to make the black part from a flat, thick piece of steel. Home Depot sells a bit of a selection of these. I found them when I bought the parts to make a tool for holding the front belt pulley etc on a scooter. You'd want a fairly thick piece so it doesn't flex. Maybe like 1/4" or 3/8" thick? Drill holes in the right spots.
