Looks good. I see it has the overhead cam too. Doesn't look like it received any damage either. that's a plus.

Its fine. The 166 is a 65.5mm bore and the 169 is a 69mm bore.

Yours is a 230cc engine. Was just seeing if they changed engines. What is the manufacture date stamped on the frame?


I would recommend taking off the carb, disassemble the whole thing included the jets and making sure there isnt any brass or aluminum shavings in any part of it.

Date of manufacture is 04/2017 and I already bought a Mikuni carb and jets for it. I didn't want to screw around with the JING KE PZ30 carb.

Made some progress today. Still have the battery, plastics, oil change, and all of the other little crap. Ran out of time.

Is the ohc motor just as reliable as the hawks pishrod motor?

Go ahead and put dielectrical grease on all the connections. Non of them are sealed so they will corrode.
