CRF250X Gel Saddle Test Ride

Recently I installed a Durelle Racing Gel Seat on my 2004 Honda CRF250X. Yesterday, I rode my CRF250X for 30 miles on pavement to the trail head, and the saddle was comfortable! Without stopping to rest my butt, I headed onto the trail. The reduced saddle height also helped a lot while riding the trail.

I had a great ride, and I enjoyed my new saddle very much. Riding for extended miles on pavement is now much more bearable, and the lower saddle height greatly facilitates crawling through boulder-stewn terrain.

My CRF250X is turning into a very nice, dual-sport bike for technical, off road riding. I am enjoying this bike a lot.

Funny I thought I posted a reply to this and I don't know where it went...

The seat looks awesome. Great mod. Being a little lower is nice when you need to dab a foot on a tight trail.

Your bike looks great. Looks clean, light, and purpose driven.

BTW, check your PM...

Hey Spud, terrific pics, I know the post is about your nice new seat but I have to say you live in a beautiful part of the world, I might be tempted by an off roader. Unfortunately where I live is quite heavily populated and where we can ride off road is quite restricted.

Carl

The weather remains merciful in the beautiful Northwest, Spud. Are you still riding?
