X-pect luggage rack?

Saw this rack for a Tao Tao TBR7, on a bike for sale on Craigslist. It looks like the TBR7 has the same rear rack setup as the Xpect, and is ready to bolt a rack to. Where can I get such a rack from a Lifan parts place? I already checked KPMoto Club and VMC.

I second this. I’ve been looking around with no luck as well. I did locate a couple of threaded holes on the underside of the tail section near the back of the passenger handles and got bolts with washers to fit. I plan to attach some s-hooks or fabricate some small brackets so I can at least have something to attach my straps to other than the passenger handles.

If the Xpect has the same bolt pattern why not try the TBR7 rack? I can tell you the HAWK uses similar staggered attachment points goes 4 inches side to side across on the rear two bolt holes, 5 5/8 to 5 3/4 across the forward most distance and 3 3/4 inches front to back down each side leg. I am betting the TBR7 is the same. If the Xpect measures that, might be worth a chance.

I should have been more clear in my first post, to include buying the TBR7 rack. I did look for it online. but the only place I found that even listed them said out of stock:
https://www.taotaopartsdirect.com/co...tbr7-rear-rack

Thanks for those measurements. I will go measure my rack mounting-screw hole spacing now. Stand by......

EDIT: Got most of the same measurements, except for the width between the two forward holes, which came to 5 1/8". Would you go re-measure that please?

Its 5 5/8 inch center to center across on the holes closest to the seat. Looking at that TBR7 rack appears there is considerable bolt hole size for adjustment.

OK, thanks. The Lifan's front two hole spacing is definitely different then. Still that could be dealt with with a rigged-up bracket

If you search Lifan Xpect upgrades on this forum you'll find where a guy used a Givi universal top case mount which he modified a bit with a dremel

I bought a top case with a mount that lets the case be removable via a quick-release. But the mounting brackets it comes with assume a normal luggage rack like the one in post #1. I could of course mount the case itself directly to the Xpect's "rack", using longer screws in place of the stock Lifan rack screws, but I would then lose the ability to remove it easily.

Here's the case I got: https://www.amazon.com/Yescom-Motorc...318428&sr=8-12

I could kludge something up, like screwing a 6" long 2x6 to the Xpect "rack", and then mount the case's mount to the 2x6; but I would like a more elegant solution, not a "there I fixed it" solution. See below:
