My little guy wants to start a youtube gaming channel and I knew the 8 year old family PC would not cut it for these demands. So off I went in search of a higher end gaming rig that wouldn't break the bank. It needed to run FORTNITE and video recording at the same time without any lag. The result:

https://www.costco.com/Acer-Predator...100342463.html

Processor & Memory:
Intel® Core i7-7700 Processor 3.6GHz
32GB DDR4 (4-DIMM) 2400MHz RAM
1TB 7200RPM SATA3 Hard Drive + 256GB Solid State Drive
DVD Writer (Writes to DVD/CD)
Microsoft® Windows 10
8GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Graphics
10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet LAN
Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC (2x2) + Bluetooth 4.0
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi MB5 with EAX 5.0

Besides a serger and thread as a Mom's Day gift for Mrs. C, a new VR for the DeSoto.

Have NIB VR that Dad has had for 35 years. Went to install it and found it was for a 6 volt neg ground system, not pos ground like the DeSoto. Also required a minimum 47A to work. DeSoto puts out 35A. Think it may be for a mid-fifties Willys Jeep.

Finally got one of my Mitsubishi Eclipse projects put back together (my friend when he owned the car decided his front wheel drive Eclipse needed all wheel drive parts... no wonder the manual transmission didn't work) got it started and found out I have some oil leaks and a couple squealing belts so lets see if it moves....

IT DOES!!! 1st and reverse work perfect now.... car is still missing a few major things (a few stripped lug nuts, new brakes, good brake fluid, etc.) so I didn't go that fast... or far, just enough to move the car out of pops garage and park it near the side of the house.

Ordered a full upper and lower engine gasket kit, some axle seals, a couple hand fulls worth of lug nuts, 2 belts, 2 hatch struts, and 4 Denso Iridium TT Spark Plugs to get this project into the next stage (getting it "road worthy")

I really can't wait to get my 22 psi, 2 liters of fury back on the road
