Rocky Mountain ATV MC

Just dropping a quick note to say that Rocky Mountain ATV MC is an awesome outfit to deal with. I have never seen such quick shipping! I ordered my tire spoons on the 27th and they sent a shipping confirmation on the 28th. Lo and behold, they showed up on my doorstep this morning. Thats fast! Now, just have to wait for the tires to show up, I bought them from a different place. Very pleased with Rocky Mountain's service, I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again

Regards,
Stew

X2 on everything you said about Rocky Mountain ATV, Stew! If I place my order with them before 2 p.m., I will receive my merchandise the next day! They offer great customer service.

I tried to order a rear sprocket from them today, but those bums don't recognize a Honda XR200R built before 1984. Of course, my son's bike is an '83. Anybody have a recommendation for a rear sprocket? The best price I've found so far is $45.00.

Pardon my early 80's Honda XR' ignorance, but is the sprocket different?? Bolt pattern or something?

I did a quick check and Gnarly Parts shows two XR 200R's.. One says 1984 only, and the other says 1984-2002. Perhaps the 1984 only is the model you need? I know you can just stop in there while you're driving around but here's the link for online ordering... price is right.

Thanks T. 1981 to 1983 is a separate animal; I'd need to get a 1984 rear wheel to use the later sprocket.

The good news is that the engine we have matches the 1986 to 2002 in several respects. The '84 and '85 models are weird four valve models.

Yes I know. The bad mod W&G started the hijack anyway, but I was going to take one for the team.

I am always looking for Tusk tools on the RM ATV website. Rocky Mountain acquires name brand tools, rebadges them as Tusk tools, and sells them for a much lower price. Also, Rocky Mountain has the best price you can find for the Kenda, K760 tires.

Yup, I think I will end up buying my tires from them as well. I got an email from BikeBandit saying that they cancelled my tire order because I live in Canuckland... Lol, just waiting for the bums to refund my money! It's too bad though cause I wanted to try out some Duro tires and Rocky Mountain doesn't sell those

www.americanmototire.com sells duro tires. Not sure if they ship to Canada.

http://www.durobike.com/contact.php Looks like you should be able to find a seller in Canada also.

Duro is headquarter here in GA.

Motorcycle Superstore also sells Duro tires; you might want to check with them, Stew.
