Welcome aboard! Thanks for joining. I'm sure you will get many hours of reading and change your mine 20 times on which bike. lol You might want to consider the Lifan KP150 and skip the engine swap. It comes with the vertical 150 and 5 speed. Much higher quality bike with a real manufactures warranty and support. Lifan has recently set up a parts store on Amazon So parts are readily available. http://shopapmc.com/New-American-Lif...very_p_57.html

More Info on the KP150 https://www.americanlifan.com/kp-mini/

looks shorter... i should probably add that I'm 6'1 and 225 lbs... but should be back around 200 lbs when i start going to the gym again.

another question ive been looking for but havent found the answer to.. has any swapped in a honda 250cc or 300cc into a clone?

It's the same size as the other Grom clones. Why not just go with a full size bike? Something more capable of highway speeds like the Lifan KPR200 and KP200. Won't need to do an engine swap. http://shopapmc.com/American-Lifan_bymfg_15-0-1.html

Check out Small Engine Velocity on You Tube. Ceasar1010 who is a member on here owns both the KP150 and KPR200.
