Bashan Model Confusion

I'm trying to build a list of features for the purposes of comparison between the various generic enduro bikes.

Not really a problem with RPS - Seems to be Hawk and Magician. Simple.

Same with CSC - TT250.

Bashan though, seems to be all over the place. I've seen Enforcer, Storm, Stallion, and Brozz. Maybe more? Not sure what the differences between them are - the vendor websites are of virtually no use. Mostly just collections of photos, and sometimes the photos themselves contradict themselves.

And then there's another distributor who seems to be making their own models, including the Hawk 1, Hawk 2, Hawk 3, and even Hawk 4. Jinkies.

So here are some 'upgrade' features that tend to differentiate these models as I understand them.

1) Inverted forks.
2) (relatively) Street-ratio sprockets.
3) Digital speedometer.
4) Remote start.
5) Alarm.
6) Rear drum brake (versus the more standard rear disk).
7) Package rack.

Am I missing anything here? Anyone with some insight to share on the various Bashan models and the differences between them?

Thanks in advance!

Well, I have no idea what came on the Storm, but I can confirm that the Brozz/Shark/Enforcers of 2016 all came with a higher quality (albeit tougher to find correct jets for) Keihin carburetor. Other differences between the models include hand guards, led marker/turn signals, and wheel diameters.

Great information, thanks! Any idea which models have which features?

The Enforcer and Storm have the taller, more off-road able wheel diameter combo, where as the Shark and Brozz came equipped with the smaller, more street-friendly 17/19 combo.

As far as I know, the Storm is the only Bashan in the stable with factory hand guards.

The Shark and Brozz have led markers and turn signals, and probably the Enforcer, too, but I can't confirm that.

I have the shark and stock mine came with keihin carb, back rack, 17/46 sprockets, digi speedo (which mine was 3 mph slower than actual speed), alarm, remote start, regular forks, and 17" rear wheel, and 19" front wheel. Dont seem to be having any rear sprocket problems others are having with the hawk, but im only at 500 miles, as i am checking it before each ride. I'll be going to Perry State forest in ohio over the weekend. That will be the real test.

The Storm was basically the "early Brozz". It's a great bike but has the standard analog cluster over the new digital unit.

It does come with inverted forks, more streetable tires (19/17), taller gearing, balance shaft CG motor AND a rear disk.

I have both the disk and drum rear brakes on my CB's. Drums are not an "upgrade". They're "old-school adequate", are less sensitive, heavier and disperse heat far slower than a disk. Why the Brozz went back to a drum is beyond me. It wouldn't be a deal breaker for me though, not on a light, small cc bike. I think the Brozz is cool though. I wish they were available for sale here in CA.

The Enforcer is basically Bashan's Hawk. The Stallion looks just like a Brozz to me. These importers/distributors will take a bike and call it what they want. Makes it confusing.

Well, still no notice the Enforcer has been shipped. I was told on Friday that they were going to have them out by the end of the day. This right here is why China bikes cant take hold in the U.S.. Its not a matter of people doing the work, its the fact you cant trust any of these company's to stand by their word.

There are no dealer checks and balances. You pull this at Honda and at least you know you still have options to call.

I am seriously having doubts that I will ever see my $1500 without going to court and even then I am sure I will never see it. Sucks....

DO NOT BUY FROM APSC...DO NOT DO IT
