ChopperCharles Join Date: Feb 2018 Location: RDU, NC Posts: 677	Exhaust gasket too thin? I got the new head on my RX3, along with a big bore kit. It started right up... and is making horrible, horrible noises. I'm pretty sure the problem is the exhaust gasket in the head. The flange on the header is flush with the head and I never felt any resistance from the gasket crushing. Did different model years have different thickness gaskets? Charles.
