spark arrestor for Asiawing NC250/SSR SR250S

Hi all,

I recently got an SSR SR250S and need to put a spark arrestor on it for riding on public lands here in the US. SSR doesn't offer one, but points out that 2007-era CRF250X cans will fit the SR250S. They're not outrageously expensive, but if I can avoid the cost I'd be happy.

Have any other SR250S/NC250 owners added home-made spark arrestors? If so, I would like to hear about what you used; I'm betting that one of the universal inserts is probably a close fit.
