Black 2015 RPS Hawk 250 Stolen out of Memphis, TN

Be on the look out. My 2015 RPS Hawk 250 was stolen from my carport on 9/18/2016 in Memphis, TN. I'd done practically all of the mods that motocheez and johnp had done, probably $1000 worth of extra stuff. They even took my shiny new harbor freight motorcycle jack! I'd only had the bike for 3 months. It was on it's 3rd tank of gas, less than 75 miles on the engine. My first motorcycle. I'd just passed the motorcycle license knowledge test and was going back later this month for the driving test. No comprehensive so its a total loss unless it is recovered. It has been reported stolen to the police. Keep your bikes safe so idiots don't steal them!

Here is the VIN and license plate number...
VIN: L0WHDN102F1001630
Tennessee Tag: 17ZT79

The Hawk world is a small world so maybe somebody will see it.

Man that sucks. Was your key in it? How hard is it to get a Hawk steering unlocked and engine started without a key?

I'm not that close to you but I will keep an eye open on random forums, videos, for sale ads (even for "Parting out a HAWK/China Bike, low miles on the engine")

Hope your bike and the a-hole(s) who took it turns up with little to no damage done to the bike

I will see it in the back of a pickup truck that is being towed to Mexico. Usually packed with all kinds of items.

Man....this sucks. I HATE thieves. You scrimp and save just to splurge on yourself a little and someone just snags it without a thought.

X2! Thieves are the lowest form of life. So sorry to hear about the loss of your bike.

I have both keys. How hard is it to pick the gas cap lock? Maybe they'll abandon it when it runs out of gas.

Mallison, any update on the bike? Did you ever hear anything on it, or did it turn up anywhere?

Yet to be found. The detective did say they had a lot of bike thefts this summer. I ended up buying a TT250. It has a GPS.

That really sucks, Mallison. There is a special circle of hell reserved for motorcycle thieves. Glad you picked up another bike. What are your thoughts on the TT250? Merry Christmas!
