Round Headlight

Installed a new 6.5" round headlight today. I got tired of the vibration of the old one and never did like the look. This (imho) looks a bit better, but it REALLY needs an 8" headlight to look bada$$.

That did turn out looking nice. I eventually want to fit a 7in. round headlight to my bike, but that is for down the road. You should take some shots outside from a bit further away to really give a feel for the overall look.

I'm happy to do that for you but it will have to be tomorrow. Most of my pics end up sideways anyway but I'll try to get a better perspective shot.

Try taking the picture in portrait mode. Always worked for me.

I like it! I also like those tires. I had them on Q for a number of years. Long lasting suckers....

The light guard I'll save until the day comes for an 8" light.

I'm loving the tires so far, but only have ~100 miles on them. What a difference in road feel and confidence though. Lean angles improve dramatically. I posted elsewhere though that I could not get the front tire on without pinching tubes. I had our local Kaw dealer put that one on for me, but now that it's on and has some miles I could probably do it.

Here's the requested shots. Gives it kind of a street fighter feel to the front. Even from the rider's perspective it looks cool (to me at least).

Let me tell you though, what a difference in light! I didn't realize how poor the stock headlight was. This was only a $40.00 headlight including the H4 bulb.

OMG, thank you for correcting my ignorance! I didn't even realize that mode was available. "I'm but a simple cave man"

Nice! Now shim your 2 rear mounts on the front fender with 2 washers each.

Nice shots, and it does look good. I still think I am going to go with a larger headlight when I get around to it, but that 6.5" light actually doesn't look too small like I thought it would.

Really looks good. I like that better than the stock headlight. I've had this one on my wish list for a while. https://www.amazon.com/SKTYANTS-Head...e%2C205&sr=1-6

I don't know Jerry, I think his chrome bezel sets it off nicely. And to me it looks like the right size.

Just wondering what he did with that big ball of wires behind the headlight.
