roketa 200

ignition fell apart so i cut the wires no new switch how do i hot wire this bike

I am basing this off of my friends Rebel; he lost the key and wanted a temp fix. The roketa should be the same.

Look at the broken ignition. There should be two disks inside of the black cylinder. When the key is on a lot of the points on the disk will match up. Trial and error will tell you when you have the points lined up right.

Then all you have to do is put toggles on all of the points.

ignition

well i would love to try that but i was pissed when it happen and the ignition went swimming in the lake

This is a typical ignition GY200 switch contact arrangement:

To run the bike, short together the black and red wires and leave the green and white/black open circuit.

To stop do the opposite: disconnect the black and red wires and short together the the green and white/black.

An ordinary two position changeover toggle switch will do this for you when wired correctly.

hotwired a pitbike 1 time
strip wires out ignition barrel green against the frame as its the earth
twist the rest together lol shocking i know how to hotwire :oops:
