Ditto with RedSpruce's comments. I too was re-directed from ADVrider. Lots of great info here!

Sorry if this is a duplicate post, but I just love watching these videos of the RX-3 clone (M1nsk TRX300i) as it gives us some idea of acceleration, sound and a video of a rider doing some trails. Watching the video again, I think the M1nsk TRX300i has the short shield vs. the taller wind shield that CSC is bringing in, so maybe it'll be a little quieter and maybe a little faster?

0-62 mph (100 km/h) acceleration and 130 km/h runs:

Trail riding video (rider viewpoint. Is it just me, or do the branches whacking the camera make you duck?):

new zong registration

one thing i hope is that CSC gets the mco correct in pennsylvania it is tough getting these chinese bikes registered. the mco has to state the actual mfger of the bike (zongshen) an NOT the dealer as pitster pro does .It took me several tries till pitster got it right an i was able to get it registered.Oh an it has to be on security paper with a watermark!! PA is very much a pain the arse .So lets hope for my sake they get it right.

I blink occasionally when the branches hit the camera.

Make sure you tell CSC what you need; I hope they get it right. If not, they will just have to do it again. I don't envy you dealing with the DMV in the PRP (Peoples' Republik of Pennsylvania).

How much of the inner fork tube do you estimate is exposed? If 4 inches is exposed, the total fork travel is probably 5.12 inches. However, if 5 inches is exposed, the total fork travel is probably the conventional, 6.5 inches. However, I'm assuming the fork travels all the way to the bottom, and that isn't necessarily true.

Except for the bottom portion, these forks look very similar to my ZS200GY-2 forks. Do you think Zongshen designed new forks with reduced travel for the RX3?
One can only guess at this time. You'll let us know soon enough.

Thanks. Those are nice looking, but I'm hoping for the rubber inserts.

For street tires, the tread isn't that bad.
That is a decent tread. I'm looking forward to your impressions, once you ride it.

For a street tire, it does have a decent tread. In fact, the tread on this tire is much nicer than the tread on any tire its size available in North America. It's too bad it must be imported from China.

If CSC doesn't import a tire that suits you, maybe you should import a small container. You'd certainly sell them.

I'd rather lace a larger hub to the rear wheel. I'm starting to think the Russians were correct; a 17-inch rim is the answer. I'm hoping I can keep the upgraded, rear cush hub, and still get a rear sprocket large enough to keep the correct, final drive ratio to the rear wheel. There are many wonderful choices for good, 17-inch knobby tires.

Even the stock, 15-inch, CST C6017 tire greatly outshines the best alternative, 15-inch tires available in North America.

I'm sure that we'll sort out the sprocket options, even if that means a custom sprocket.

That said, many riders would rather just buy a decent tire than modify the wheel.
