Yes they are tubless, we have been lucky so far no flats yet. The desert is rough on tires, we have had to replace 6-8 of them in the last 2-3 years due to desert thorns.

I carry a can of fix a flat and a hand pump, and I'm sure I will be using it sooner or later. The nice thing about the ATV's is you can generally fit in between the bushes and unlike a truck you don't have to run over them. I have seen 10 ply tires get punctured from that.

Been a great thing for my mower tires over the years, along with a plug kit.

Green Slim. What a life saver. I use that stuff on my mower, ATV and UTV. I've pulled nails and even a small sticks and it seals right up. My riding mower is 17 years old with the original tires. First time I got a leak on it I got a gallon jug and filled all 4 tires. I haven't had a leak since.

Grin Snow Day

Ever since I saw 07PSDCREWs pictures and story of his quads in the snow I have been wanting to get mine in some white stuff and play. My youngest son and I decided to go on an adventure yesterday and see if we could find some. Both the major interstates here that cross the Sierra were closed so they were out. Found an Off Highway Vehicle (OHV) park online north of where I live in the Coast Range that looked like it was getting some snow. We loaded the quads up and headed out for the 2 hour drive.

Got there, unloaded and found a dirt road/trail that went towards the peak where we could see it was snowing. About 3 miles up we hit the snow line. At about 5 miles we hit the summit at just over 4k feet. We were the first riders up that road/trail with the deepest snow on top being about a 6" to 8" with drifts to 2’. Quads did real well and we had a blast! My son got stuck once trying to turn around in a washout but that was it. Was nice to get them out for a ride.

Rhino 250 Night Vision set up.

Night Vision set up on my Rhino 250. Set up on a known crossing point for cartel drug runners.

Got another batch of cold weather here and my son wanted to see if we can find the snow again. Went to the same place but the snow level was much higher. Put on a few more miles and hit some challenging terrain looking for a peak that was high enough. Was amazed at how well these little motors/CVTs got us up some very long steep hills.

Only issue on this trip was the bolts holding the rear axle to the swing arm on the blue one backed off a little. Never noticed the issue until the chain jumped off in the parking lot at the end of the day. Will be torqueing and applying lock-tite to both this week.

The last picture had a real nice view in the background but the I-phones camera decided not to show it.

Keep the pics coming.. hoping to get out finally in two weeks after I get the new engine in my truck.

That dirt in those pics catches my eye...nice iron staining.. lots of rounded gravels.. I smell gold in them hills. Learn to pan and those ATV's will be free in a short while.
