Just last year we handed off the China and crystal to one of Mrs. 2LZ distant family members who still cared. It was almost impossible to find someone in the family.

The china was something both Mrs.C's and my Mom insisted we have when we got married, so we got something cheap at the Gambles store in Antioch, IL 50 years ago. I think I can count on one hand how many times we've used it. Usually, it's the kitchen Corning Ware or a paper plate.
Or paper towel and eating over the sink.

I can remember well all those things growing up. I’m a born in the mid 50’s person that was even taught civics, history, English and was fortunate to have wood shop, metal shop and auto shop, starting in 7th grade! Watching the moon landing was also something I remember well! Great Thread
