oil Lowes 4 cycle non synthetic

ok pulled the trigger - 2016 CSC TT250 750 miles &
QUESTION can i use 10w40 4 cycle not for autos
non detergent non synthetic
i know for the clutches thank you very much

Detergents aren't the problem, most 4t oils contain quite a few including some to keep particles in suspension.
Synthetic isn't the problem. I run synthetic in all my bikes, Motul 7100 in my vfr and Rotella T6 15w40 in my Hawk. I even broke my Hawk in with it. No issues.

Most guys run Rotella T4 15w40. Works fine. Some guys run Walmart supertech cheapie oil, no problems.

what they all have in common is that they have no friction modifiers. A good rule of thumb is if it states it is a high efficiency oil then steer clear. Friction modifiers like moly will cause a wet clutch to slip.

Obviously - I should Never MIX Synthetic with reg oil to top off?

that's what a synthetic blend is. No reason why not. Rotella T5 is quite literally a mix of T4 and T6 lol
