Note that the seller said $60 OBO. I'd offer half.

X2! The NX250 was imported into the United States for only three years; the seller doesn't have a big market for that item.

Kudos to Oengus and Allen; good sleuthing gentlemen! As with the LXT 400, the Honda, NX250 engine also has a countershaft with 11 splines. This is further evidence the bottom end of the LXT 400 engine might be patterned after the NX250 engine. For LXT 400, countershaft sprocket information, check the following thread.

They don't call us chinariders for nothing. Takes a research team to keep these going.

Just got back from the peppermill. Balls, that certainly does look like the correct part! Other than the bolt depths it looks spot on! Thank you gentlemen, that is super sexy! I wonder if it is large enough for the stator... I suppose I could ask the seller a few questions....
Wifey is still pretty torqued about the whole situation since I had to ride in the lifan and she got zip. Plus it is a $2K paper weight. I would have to be 100% certain or it would be my balls for sure.... :?
This photo make a pretty compelling arguement tho...

I hope you get it for a good price. If it doesn't fit, clean it up and re-eBay it.

Peppermill? :?:

I'd have had that sucker on the way already! It's gotta fit. How can all the visible parts be the same, and the Chinese make some expensive obscure change? Not their style. IF it fits you ride! PP ain't helpin' anytime soon...

If it does not I bet you can make it fit, or re-eBay it.

I agree with W&G, Allen, and FastDoc. Make the eBay seller an offer, and buy the part. If PP has a single bike left unsold, they should be stripping it for parts for you, Fish, and the other LXT 400 buyers who will soon be in the same predicament. :( If, and when, Xingyue decides to ship parts to Utah, PP can install them on the "donor" bike, then sell it.

Alas - daddy is out of money :( It does look like it would pop right up tho. Perhaps I'll take it apart again for fun and look. Doesn't matter much tho, I've been told I'm without funds :?
