I was going to order a more expensive set of LED's but these look to be just right for filling in the light to the sides of the bike and are very inexpensive.
You're welcome, I'm glad the Tractor supply lights seem to be a good match for the RX-3, and Glad Spud does such wonderful install write-ups! (I never seem to remember to take good pics when I'm working on mine )

If i end up doing the full mad max thing to my Interceptor i could def see running something like them on it. Provided the bikes electrical system could handle it.

I took a 30-mile ride this morning. When I finished the temperature was 36 degrees Fahrenheit, and the wind chill was 26 degrees Fahrenheit. However, at least it stopped raining for a few hours.

Here are some photos of the lighted auxiliary lights. The lights actually appear much brighter to the eye than was captured by the camera.

Looks great, Spud! I'm thinking I might have to do this as well! Have you been able to turn on the lights at night to see how well it illuminates the road forward and to the side?

And riding in 26 degree weather with wind chill! (And there's always wind chill on a bike!) Wow! Well done! I don't think I have any gear that will keep me comfortable at that temperature!

I didn't finish the installation until after dark, so I went riding the first night until 11:00 PM. These work lights do an excellent job lighting the area immediately in front of the bike, and to the sides. Huck369 posted the following photographs in his thread, which is linked below.

http://www.chinariders.net/showthread.php?t=15356

Huck's first photo shows the low beam, without auxilary lights.

Huck's second photo shows the low beam, with auxiilary lights illuminated.

Huck's photos convinced me to purchase these auxiilary lights. The photographs accurately display the quality of the lighting. I got similar results, and I am very satisfied with these work lights.

The weather has turned very cold, and it is expected to snow tomorrow morning. However, if I have an opportunity to venture out after dark, I will attempt taking a few photographs myself, but don't hold your breath.

P.S. The wind was blowing 21 mph, and the wind chill was 26 degrees. However, the ambient air temperature was 36 degrees.

I wore my Chinese clone of the Milwaukee heated jacket, which I reviewed in the following thread.

http://www.chinariders.net/showthread.php?t=13163

I also enjoyed the warmth from my Oxford heated grips, which I installed concurrently with the auxiliary lights.

P.S. The Milwaukee heated jacket (Chinese clone) is my regular winter coat. I love it.

Funny, I was just thinking about that jacket the other day. Have you had to replace the battery packs yet?

Yes, the battery packs wear out after a while. But I also ruined several packs when my voltage cutoff circuit died. Check out my heated jacket thread; I am posting updates.

I have been seeing more and more bikes with led work lights, I think I am going to wire mine to always on instead of on with high beams

I was tempted to do the same. However, I like keeping the extra current on another wire, with another fuse. Also, I like being able to turn the auxiliary lights off when starting the motorcycle, which reduces the load on the battery. As soon as the bike starts, I flip the A1 switch, and the auxiliary lights are illuminated.

I wanted to supplement my Tractor Supply flood lights with spot lights to enhance the illumination of the headlight. Therefore, I purchased a pair of 10W Mini-Aux, LED spot lights from SuperBrightLEDs.com.

https://www.superbrightleds.com/more...rk-light/1699/

I purchased the spot lights with the 10-degree beam angle, which is shown in the upper left part of the photograph below.
