RX4 Parts Interchange/Suppliers

This thread should be useful for identifying parts form other bikes or non CSC suppliers to source RX4 parts. The unavailability of a front sprocket has me thinking this will become useful as it fills up.

I am currently waiting to see if OTOM can get the 14t 530 front sprocket for the NC450. They sell a 13t (amazon/aliexpress), which is a size down. A user on the FB page replaced his 14t front sprocket with a JT sprocket for a Ducati 1098,999,749. It's a 15t 520. You can use a 530 chain on a 520, however I want MAXIMUM interval, so I want a high quality chain, and new properly matched hardware.

JT front sprockets Ducati P/N is JTF742.15. The .xx (15) after the part number is the tooth count. Courtesy of Mike Davis

I want a 530 in my case, with 14 t so I've ordered a 92' GSXR sprocket to test

Ok so, I had recived some information that led me to believe the front sprocket was a 14t stock.. I counted it and its a 13t, which OTOM sells (amazon/aliexpress). Once I get it can condirm fit it ill add it to the top list. Since the Ducati 1098 520 sprockets fit, and come in different teeth, its possible that the 1200/1260 multistage fits.. its a 530 (we use 530, but a 530 chain will fit 520 with some extra room) and it has the lip that we need for spacing. I have not tested it though. I'm not sure I want to lower the bottom end.

I have owned a few Ducks and each had a 14 tooth front sprocket. If the countershaft spline is common to RX4 and Ducati it will be a great aftermarket source.

Doesn't the RX4 have a 13 spline on the engine ? if anything I want a bigger sprocket on the front staying the same serves no purpose to me in stock configuration the bike cruises at 70~75 mph fine but the RPM's are way up there ! and it's Buzzy at that speed !
so larger front and smaller rear are the way to go for me ! ( get that RPM down at cruise)
....
so has anyone came up with a useable larger front sprocket yet ?
....
Bob.......
