I'm hoping the KLX is down to about 250lbs now but I haven't weighed it yet. The IMS 3 gallon tank removed a few pounds. Of course, the extra gallon of fuel negated that. My next mod on the KLX is a Seat Concepts seat conversion kit.

Oh, she loves me alright. I've never worried about that. When she was young, she chased me like crazy until I caught her. She's quite a bit younger than me.

I wish I was 210.

So (off topic), is the diesel bike project dead?

I'd still like to build the Diesel KLR but really need to get something finished. The KLRE sat in Texas for over a year and a half. I expected it to be further along than this. And it needs some major things changed on it.

The Diesel will have to wait.

At least there's hope that it's not dead.

Man, I lost a year and a half on this KLRE build. All of the parts for the Diesel were returned when I got it back. The plan was to use a lot of the stuff that was previously used on the KLRE, such as: the rear RICOR shock, stock rear wheel, Heidenau K60 tire, rear '07 KLR linkage, etc... All of this was needed to turn the Diesel into a roller. If I get the KLRE finished sometime this Winter, I'll more than likely move onto the Diesel KLR as my next project. The only part needed now to turn the Diesel into a roller is a KLR front wheel. Once I get that it's a matter of only minutes, to have a rolling bike.

I hope to get into the garage tomorrow.

@SamM

If you want to loose weight, read this book (Harvey Diamond - Fit for Life), check if they have it at your local library.
