1....... How about a build forum...

2........ Someone is paying for this forum
to be hosted in the net.... So what about
a donations tab that uses paypal .. so
members can make donation to help
with the running/hosting of this forum..
$5 / $10 / $20 option's..........
( prob should set up a poll to see if there's
any interest)

There's no real adds to help pay for it... So the $ are comeing out
of someones pocket....

PS... Who owns this forum?

Pete, by build forum, do you mean a project bike forum? That's interesting...

There are ads in the left pane (at least with my browser) that are generated by Google. That must pay for at least some of the site.

On another firearm site I used to moderate we used no advertising and asked the members to kick in a little bit every year to cover expenses. I have not wondered about how it's done here.
