Apologies for the late response. Yes, what I referred to as the "boss" is the tab or ear on the frame that the mounting bolt goes through.

Never had any issues with the kickstand on my 2020 Brozz 250. Must be frustrating, for sure.

My 2020 carb'd Hawk has a side stand too short as well. A piece of 2x4 perfectly puts it where it should be. Basically, the kickstand is 2-2/25" too short.

Or you can do as CSR did and bend the bracket downward. That puts the kickstand more vertical, which is fine too. Although simply making it longer may be more stable.

I just remembered that one side-effect of vending the bracket is that the kickstand "foot" will rest on the outside edge. This will make it dig into soft surfaces look ke dirt, mid, sand, and hot asphalt. You can be creative and do one of the following :
1) Cut the foot of the kickstand off, trim the bottom end of the kickstand tube so that it's parallel to the ground when extended, then weld the foot back on. Yeah, my ideas do tend to be overly complex. I'm told that it's part of my charm.

2) Carry a pocket kickstand "pad" that you put on the ground so that the kickstand won't dig into soft surfaces.

3) Or just carry a piece of 2x4 like many people do.

My 2021 Hawk250 leans incredibly too far as well. Tried heating and bending but it's just too short of a stand. I know I bought a cheap bike but sheesh the little problems just never seem to stop.
