Hawk 250 DLX Codes

where could I locate code descriptions for the DLX? specifically a p0118.

Obd codes are fairly universal. P0118 is a coolant temp sensor fault, which I can only assume is the head temp sensor on the engine.

Says it's a problem with the cylinder head temp sensor.

Looking at a bike which is cheap, but with problems.

P0118 is usually triggered by the sensor voltage being too high, likely the result of an internal short from failure. Probably just needs a new sensor.

yeah, but this guy only wanted $720 for his.

Well that sucks. I've had that happen to me too many times. I've actually taken off work and told the guy I would be there In a few hours. I show up and he had just sold the bike. A phone call would of been nice instead of me taking a 2 hour round trip. Makes you want to throat punch someone.
